Play fighting

Standing at the dog park watching her large pointer wrestling with three other dogs, at a house party where her friends from Manitoba begin doing "whiskey slaps", or watching MMA with her partner Sam, Delia began noticing moments in which violence was a form of connection and joy. Struck by this, she began exploring these moments through her paintings.
